This Orange May Contain Emotional Baggage

We were very pleased to invite you the exhibition of our 2019 Pollen Studios and Gallery Graduate Award winner, Brennagh Meehan. Brennagh was not a stranger to Pollen Studios, having performed in the Belfast International Festival of Performance Art showcase in 2018 and is regular visitor to our Late Night Art exhibitions. We were delighted to host her first solo exhibition. There was a live performance action lasting around 15 minutes.

This Orange May Contain Emotional Baggage included installation and live performance. Relating to the grief and loss of her grandmother, she continues to symbolise emotions through image and sculpture revolving around oranges.

Since graduating with a 1st Class BA Fine Art Hons she has joined Flax Studios in their Graduate/emerging artist hub, using performance, sculpture, poetry and sound within her multidisciplinary practise.
